Payments and Payment Providers

Stripe

When you choose online card payment, you may be redirected to or interact with Stripe's hosted payment services. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. JRJ generally receives transaction information such as payment status, amount, session or transaction identifiers and other information needed to link payment to your booking.

PayNow and Direct Bank Transfer

PayNow and direct bank transfer payments are manually verified by JRJ. We may use information such as the payer name, amount, bank or transfer reference and any proof of payment you provide to match payment to the relevant booking.

Sharing and Disclosure

We do not disclose personal data indiscriminately. Where reasonably required for the purposes described in this Policy, information may be disclosed to:

• drivers and personnel involved in fulfilling your journey;
• transport partners or service providers where they are used for a booking;
• payment processors, banks and payment service providers;
• website hosting, IT, security, email and other technology service providers;
• professional advisers such as accountants, auditors or legal advisers;
• government agencies, regulators, law-enforcement authorities or courts where required or permitted by law; and
• other parties with your consent or where another lawful basis applies.

We seek to limit disclosure to information reasonably needed for the relevant purpose.

Maps, Cookies and Technical Data

Location and Map Information

Our booking experience may use map functionality to help you identify pickup and drop-off points. Location coordinates that you select may form part of your booking record. Map or geocoding functionality may also involve third-party mapping services.

For cross-border transport, limited booking information may also need to be available to operational personnel involved in fulfilling the relevant journey.

JRJ takes reasonable administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data in our possession or control against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, loss or similar risks.

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should also take care when sharing booking references, payment information and personal data.

Access and Correction

Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may contact us to request access to personal data about you that is in our possession or control, or to request correction of an error or omission in your personal data.

We may need to verify your identity before processing a request and may request sufficient information to locate the relevant records. Any applicable fee or limitation will be handled in accordance with Singapore law.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where our collection, use or disclosure of personal data is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent by giving reasonable notice. We will explain any likely consequences of the withdrawal where appropriate.
